Press Release 2012 03 05 Arjay Books Announces the publishing of The Builder A Christian Science Fiction novel with an Irish flavour The nexus is over, but Lucas has lost the new Earth. Mara is trying to clean up from the MacCarthy attack on Tara and prepare for the second battle of Glenmorgan. Roger Hyland builds railways on earth, underwater and in space, but cannot discern spiritual realities. Lucas ought to be the next builder but doesn't want the job. Meanwhile, the MacCarthys plot an even greater destruction of Tara, one they have had in waiting for many years. Can Roger Hyland and his friends stop them before it is too late? Can they survive the attempt to stop them? Roger 's own story takes us around the world and into space, as he first tries to make a name for the engineers and the flyboys, faces down one crisis after another, then must deal with the hardest of all--his own spiritual battle. His once friend and betrayer Res Foster has a struggle with his own demons, and must take a side trip to earth and nearly be killed to respolve them. Formerly a high school teacher, Rick Sutcliffe is currently Professor of Mathematics and Computing Science at Trinity Western University in Langley, B.C. His previous work includes a computer programming text, newspaper and magazine columns, lectures and a text on ethical and social issues in technology, and numerous published articles and papers.
